the part that is back is braided and then clips in to half up half down
put your hair half up half down but leave a 2x1 section of hair out in the front on either side. after your hair is up braid those small sections and secure with hair tie use one of those really tiny claw clips to hook the braids to the ponytail...

Bein that you are kinda edgy i was thinking more of a nice bob....you can weave in and then cut it or you can just kut your own hair. Its very edgy and sheek. {OR} you can always try the clasic look with the waves.
