How to get custom hair styles on the sims?

ok so i went on to that XMSims.com site


then i found the hair styles i wonted,


clicked on them,


then little window thinggo came up and i saved them in to a folder i made on the destop.





then i just assumed that when i started up sims they would be there... but there not!





please help me... what do i doHow to get custom hair styles on the sims?

and after you narrow down your search and download what you want, just double click what you downloaded and say continue when its done and next time you start the sims up it should work, always has for me, i forget if you need an account to do it, but its free

are you sure you have the Mesh for them? go on MTS2 and download custom sim Hairs there also make sure you put them in the sims 2 download folder you might have to make one also there is a tutorial on how to do that on MTS2.
