Hair styles?
So.. my hair is pretty plain. and im waiting to cut it and dye it and stuff until after prom (may 17th) but im bored and kinda wanted new hairstyles to try like- i dont really like my forehead so i like to keep my bangs down but its just like medium-longer length hair and i have like limited styles. Pony tail, half up, pig tail braids, or scrunched. any ideas?Hair styles?

clip in extensions they are so great i have some they are longer then my hair so it works out great plus it makes it fuller looking and you could get curly ones or wavey ones or straight ones and its so great cuz they are clip in you can wear them when you want and take them out when you want and if you do decide to get them make sure you get the human hair kind tht way you can keep them clean by washin them :)

hmm.. yeah there is many usual hair styles. but spice up those hair styles!! instead of a normal pony tail.. wear a cool sparkly headband w/it.. or instead of braids.. twists.. or u can take one small piece of hair in the front.. braid it and clip it to the back.. u can also put it in funky buns and stuff.. just look around at what everyone elses hair is like.. ull think of something! good luck :]
my daughter is 17 also. about once a week she washes her hair put in gel or moose and has me put in small braids at night when she wakes up she takes them out and brushes her hair as usual then either puts it back with barrettes or in a big pony tail.
1. loose-like banana curls
2. straightened down with a cute headband
3. scrunch it after a shower than wear it in one of your normal styles (pony tail, half up, or down.)

go for a clippered haircut, but keep the clipper low, and scissor cut the top and tell them to blend it low, low meaning below the temple, this will bring the eyes down a bit so you head will appear a little shorter, and keep the sideburns they will also help to make the face appear shortermakeup class

i told you about the poof earlier for a hair style. As for a hair cut. Keep it long. Also it is cute if you use the poof and put it in a ponytail. Also you could try two very loose ponytails that hang down in front. Use a volumizing gel and curl your hair. Make it a bit unperfect to keep it cute without looking babyish. ponytails can be livend up with a large ribbon. Messy buns are also very easy to do.Hope i helped again hun.Hair Styles....?

Don't know how long it is,or how old u r..but try braiding when wet and letting it dry..take it out and just run your fingers trough it...u can use a variety of little clips %26amp; put small braids or little twist in a roll, up from your face %26amp; clip it half way..use a moose to help it stay...there is a variety of temperory hair colors that washes out.....even Koolaid will adds color thats tempory

Im entering mid. school. Am asian. Have long black hair. Small face. And roundish rectangular light purple Juicy Couture glasses. I don't have bangs, but when I put my hair in a pony, when it get messy, there are two curved lines of hair that droop down at the side of my face which I think looks good. I would suggest using a waver or something similar to try out a different look and see how you like it before committing to something permanent. There are many different brands of curlers and wavers ranging from very reasonable to high end professional stylers. Either velcro or plastic rollers are the best thing for your hair, plus the curls last way longer than other methods. Get a deep conditioning treatment at the salon and use a conditioner that adds shine the day of your picture. Wear your hair down and don't place it all on your back for the picture. I'm jealous of your wavy hair, my sis has wavy hair too. This is how she fixes it and it is soo cute and sexy.

The books and mags at the stylist's can be really lame. I would go to the store and stock up on current celeb hairstyle mags. I also have thick brown hair. It used to be shoulder length or longer, and my stylist finally convinced me to go shorter. I was really against it - who doesn't like long hair? Then I realized that short hair was super sexy, too. It's an amazing cut, and I get so many compliments. Thick, long hair tends to just ';hang there';. It's too heavy to really hold body for very long. Maybe try a shorter cut with more of a style to it? Lesson learned for me: what's sexy on one person isn't sexy on every person.

I want to get the pompadour hair style but i dont know how too do it! its like the poof on the top and the sides pulled back! can someone tell me how to do it please!Hair styles?
What you need to do is tease the top of your hair first. With teasing all you do is spray ALOT of hairspray and pick up a section and back comb it with a small comb but only do it at the roots. Make sure that you don't tease the top layer of hair or else it will look like a rats nest. The top will be full of volume so use the comb again and comb back the sides so it is smoothe and the don't worry the top will poof. The key is lots of hairspray I actually recommend a cheap brand like Aqua Net because it holds really well.

My hair is the pooffy kind. Like after i would take a shower it is nice and silk (after i comb it) but the after about 5-10 min. its goes POOF!!!! So i decided to starighten it. I'm about 15 and I HATE showing off my forehead (just to let you know ahead of time)! Anyways, I'm about to get my hair cut soon and I wanted to know what kinds of styles will help me look better. I don't really look good with flat hair... and my face is sorta roundish with a prominent chin. My hair is currently just past my shoulder, but I actually wanted to make it shorter. I wanted a cute, funky style that just doesn't make my face look short or chubby. I'm short and so is my neck. Ok I really need some hair styles! I'm ALWAYS putting my hair up into a pony and I'm soo sick of it! I have hair that's extremely short in the back and comes up a little past my chin the the front (it keeps getting shorter as it goes so it's like an angle). My hair is really thin!

~ leave two thin strands of hair at both sides of your head. Wrap the ends of both with a small band. straighten the rest of your hair and then pull it back to a very, very, very tight bun. And yes, it has to be messy too. With the two strands, pull them back and place them evenly inside the bun. its gonna be hard if your bun isn't tight.
~(for bangs) french braid ur hair first, then pull back your bangs and let the ends (if they're long enough) to weave inside the braid.make up

I have medium hair. Not to thick not to thin. Brown. Nauturally has light blond highlights. Not to noticable though. Down to my shoulders. Parted to the side with side bangs that part with my hair. I also have layers but they are not too short and chopy. My hair is not emo at all, it will not hold a curl for crap, and crimping and scrunching = DOESN'T WORK FOOL. so don't suggest that. About to get a scene hair cut but until then im trying to get my hair to do something edgy cause im sick of just haveing straight hair. My moms a hairstylest and i tried asking her she said i could use any of her products but she couldnt think of any... if you have any ideas/ tips it would help alot..Hair styles?
Oh yay! so glad I saw this question....I happen to be scene myself...and I can tell you i had the same problem at first....what i do..that i wish i had known before...is i take a razor (like the kind you would use to shave your legs) and just go along the bottoms of your hair...or along the parts you want shorter....go downwards..not upwards....it will give u a little bit of layering....then...i would suggest looking for a wax type of thing for your hair. i use fructis garnier brand...it works really well... then get abunch on your fingers and run it through.....then grab your hairspray...and turn on your straightener...
grab a teasing comb...
start with your top layers....take a small chunk..and hairspray it...then tease it....in the layers close to your bangs and or forehead.....tease only the underneath side...but the layers under that...if u want extra volume....then tease the top side as well..do that for it all....and aftre u have teased each piece..use a straightener on it...pulling away from ur head into the air...then pull it all ur teased hair down and push it around....until it cover ur entire head instead of random spikes stickig out....brush it slightly..then hairspray it all so it fels like concrete....
now i know htis sounds complicated but it really isnt..you will get the hang of it....oh and btw....that is for hair that looke like this...

well maybe try a messy high pony look which only takes a few minutes as you dont even need it neat and you can just comb your hair though with your fingers...

then i pull back the bits of hair on the side back and pin them in the same area of the quif (just so you dont have a million bobby pins in diff areas on ur head!)
then i plait the back of my hair but not to the end maybe just like 7cm and then i put it in a side ponytail.

for me straightening my hair take 3-4 hours so i cannot advice you on that %26amp; plus you only have 10 mins so..

hi, there are a variety of styles you can do when you style your hair while it's wet. i have kinda curly wavy hair, so i am fond of scrunching it, and it's really simple to do. first, you should always try to relieve some of the dampness in your hair, but not all of the dampness. the best way to keep your hair healthy and strong is not to rub and tousle all your hair with your towel after washing %26amp; conditioning it. you should blot it more like, which won't cause excessive damage to your hair cuticles. next, choose which styling agent will work best for your hair type to hold curls and also refine curls if you already have naturally curly/wavy hair such as i do. i use both hair gel (with stuff to make my hair not frizz added to it) and mouse (my favorite to use is called ';Got 2 Be=Kinky';, which is a curl defining curling mouse. it defines curls for doing twists, scrunching, and torking). i apply gel either from a bottle or as a spray gel, and then work on scrunching my hair.
to do scrunching, hold a fair amount of hair in your hand, and then either close your hand all around that section of hair and then push/squeeze/scrunch all the hair in your hand up against your scalp. what works best for my curls is to gather my hair and just push/squish it all to my scalp, from my tips to my roots, and then squeeze my hand up into a ball against my scalp with my hair in my hand. hold your hair in your hand scrunching it up like that for a moment or two, and then release your hair, and continue on throughout the remainder of your hair. once i've finished that, i blow dry my hair (using sprays to protect your hair while using hot styling products is always wise-i like using the ';Tresemme-heat tamer protective spray';). to keep my scrunched up curls while drying my hair, i blow dry it about a 1/3 of the way on high heat-continuing to scrunch my curls more so as needed throughout the entire drying process. flipping your head upside down will add volume as you dry your hair. i make sure to use enough gel/gel spray underneath my head to maintain curls there as well as i dry my hair on medium heat to make my hair now 2/3 dry all over. lastly, i turn my hair dryer down to the coolest setting, which closes up your hair cuticules, and finish drying my hair(sometimes i may need to add a tiny bit more mouse to touch up the curls framing my face, ect.). a few squirts of hair spray to touch up any curls or fly aways throughout the day is all that needed. now you have a hair style that goes for anyday, any activity, casual or formal, and you look fantastic!
oh, french braiding is really easy too. do you know how to braid? french braiding is just a bit more complicated to do than regular braiding. make your 3 sections to start braiding with. then as you braid those three sections once, then as you are about to braid them through again, gather more hair for each section. continue grabbing more hair everytime you go to rebraid those three sections as you started with, and those sections you are braiding will coninue to have more hair. this works with all types of french braiding, just keep gathering more hair into your sections you are braiding. it's kind of hard to explain into words if you don't already know who to braid to begin with. if you already know how to braid, then hopefully my explaination of french braiding is easy to understand and you will continue to get better the more you do this hairstyle. also, a great site is called jugvideo-life on film. it shows some really good videos on all sorts of things to learn how to do yourself. i looked up this page for you, maybe watching some of these videos will help you see how i was explaining french braiding=http://www.videojug.com/search?i hope all this info helps, and i'm sure you will look great!!!!!

to do scrunching, hold a fair amount of hair in your hand, and then either close your hand all around that section of hair and then push/squeeze/scrunch all the hair in your hand up against your scalp. what works best for my curls is to gather my hair and just push/squish it all to my scalp, from my tips to my roots, and then squeeze my hand up into a ball against my scalp with my hair in my hand. hold your hair in your hand scrunching it up like that for a moment or two, and then release your hair, and continue on throughout the remainder of your hair. once i've finished that, i blow dry my hair (using sprays to protect your hair while using hot styling products is always wise-i like using the ';Tresemme-heat tamer protective spray';). to keep my scrunched up curls while drying my hair, i blow dry it about a 1/3 of the way on high heat-continuing to scrunch my curls more so as needed throughout the entire drying process. flipping your head upside down will add volume as you dry your hair. i make sure to use enough gel/gel spray underneath my head to maintain curls there as well as i dry my hair on medium heat to make my hair now 2/3 dry all over. lastly, i turn my hair dryer down to the coolest setting, which closes up your hair cuticules, and finish drying my hair(sometimes i may need to add a tiny bit more mouse to touch up the curls framing my face, ect.). a few squirts of hair spray to touch up any curls or fly aways throughout the day is all that needed. now you have a hair style that goes for anyday, any activity, casual or formal, and you look fantastic!
oh, french braiding is really easy too. do you know how to braid? french braiding is just a bit more complicated to do than regular braiding. make your 3 sections to start braiding with. then as you braid those three sections once, then as you are about to braid them through again, gather more hair for each section. continue grabbing more hair everytime you go to rebraid those three sections as you started with, and those sections you are braiding will coninue to have more hair. this works with all types of french braiding, just keep gathering more hair into your sections you are braiding. it's kind of hard to explain into words if you don't already know who to braid to begin with. if you already know how to braid, then hopefully my explaination of french braiding is easy to understand and you will continue to get better the more you do this hairstyle. also, a great site is called jugvideo-life on film. it shows some really good videos on all sorts of things to learn how to do yourself. i looked up this page for you, maybe watching some of these videos will help you see how i was explaining french braiding=http://www.videojug.com/search?i hope all this info helps, and i'm sure you will look great!!!!!
