Hair Styles?

I have natural curly hair and it's half way down my back I can't wear it down or it will get all knotted, frizzey, and poofed out. I always wear it in a ponytail because all I can do is put in braids and in ponytail without getting ugly...Im not aloud to put stuff in my hair and I dont want I just want a decent hairstyle because I get bored of ponytails....oh and I am not going to cut my hair until summer cause Im giving it away to Lock of Love.....and my mom doesn't want to try and straighten it because it takes to long....and she wont let me have my own blow dryer because my hair would fall out because there is no way I could straighten my without burning it all off. Please HELP ME!Hair Styles?
1. you can get is cut short and curly





2. you can relax it and then decide weather to cut it or keep your new found type of rocker hair





3. dye it! (and maybe even relax) be gothy

If you're donating it in the summer, you shouldn't put anything on or in it unless you have hair that's VERY strong. I would leave it as is until then, and then afterward do what you like. I used to have long, straight black hair (I'm Cherokee Native) and donated 28 inches to Locks of Love. Now, it's only 2 inches from the scalp and spiked in porcuspikes (I'm a gal.)





Why is your mother telling you all this stuff anyway? Most of it is pure lies. Your hair WILL NOT fall out if you straighten it. Nor will it fall out if you blow dry it. Sounds a bit controlling to me. I bleached mine twice in the same day and it didn't fall out, so where is she getting this junk? I can understand if what she means is preserving the original quality of the hair when it's donated, but afterward man, she needs to let up a bit.
