Hair styles?

I have thick, shoulder lengthed hair (but thinned out with layers) and a side fringe. Have to have hair up or part up for school (as long as it's pretty much out of face it's ok). Normally have pony tail, but It gets boring after a while... Any Ideas on what Updo's I could do???Hair styles?

I think you should get a side bang and keep your hair in a messy bun.
I just had my hair cut but its always naturally spiky. Just think of buzz cut of an army dude, minus the square looking shape. Its dark brown.
half-up half down is cute. so are two braids or pigtails by your ears. also, sloppy, low buns.
