Hair styles..?

with school starting this year i am looking for new idea's on how to style my hair. my hair is long thick and curly. normally i wear it down with my side bangs pulled up because i'm not sure how to style them. i straighten my hair sometimes but it takes up to an hour since i have SO much hair.

any ideas?Hair styles..?
well... my sister has the same kind of hair as yours! so I know what you are talking about!

maybe you can like cut it to your shoulders or a little bit of layers, of course its your choice on what you want to do with your hair, but it would probably look cute!

and 4 the bangs do side or let them grow to the cheek bone! very cute! and sometime you can put the bangs up in a clip!

Oh yeah, sometimes if my sis wants to straighten it for the next day, she washes it, blow dries it, and then straightens it the night before! and if you want you can ask your mom to help! and in the morning you can touch up with the straightener if you see some parts that need to be fixed!

... P.S. don't cut it short, short! you will probably look like a poodle! lolz and dont just blow dry it and then your done! I know i keep using my sis, BUT.. it looked really weird!

I don't know if you would like this kind of idea. But since your hair is long you could straighten your hair then do your hair like a chinese bun. If you don't know how to do a chinese bun hairstyle I have a website for you to see the video tutorial of how you can do it. I only have one website for you I couldn't find any other websites so I'm very sorry.
You could use taming or straightening shampoos and then straighten it or use those shampoos and then straighten you side bangs. What i ddo is straighten just certain parts of my hair (underneath or top layer etc) so it looks less curly. :)

try scrunching it works alot better with curly hair :-)

and the bangs still look good to the side with the style!
if u try blow drying it , it will look fuller and straighter and some times it does not take the long
LET THE BANGS GROW OUT. STRAIGHT OR CURLY IS FINE. SWITCH IT UP.
I would just straighten your side bangs. That would look really pretty
