Hair styles for 2 year old girl?

I have a 2 year old girl with not much hair, shorter in front and longer in the back, very fine. What can i do with it besides a ponytail that is easy and quick?Hair styles for 2 year old girl?
my daughter is three now, so it's a bit longer, but very similar to what you described.





she loves:


buns on the sides (1 on each side) over her ears... it's really cute and clean looking


a snap clip holding her bangs back on one side


two ponytails


4 buns (part hair in half down middle, then in half above the ears, you'll have four sections... i just twist the hair around the ponytail holder... they don't have to be perfect... my daughter has medium blonde hair, but a lot of highlights, so this hair do really empasizes those highlights... so cute!)

because the hair is so FINE i've had a hard time finding ponytail holders that go in quickly and easily, but don't tear in her hair and i can get out. the best i've found are at walmart! i don't know the brand, but they're colorful, and there's like 100 in the pack, some walmart brand i guess. i honestly drive 30 mins. to walmart specifically for these, because otherwise it would take me a long time to do her hair.





i've also purchased something called ';trash ties.'; you may have to wait til your daughters hair is a little longer, but they are a cute alternative to ponytail holders, etc. and come with an idea booklet how to use them.

You could add small and lightweight slides but these can cause a choking hazard in small cases so I'd steer clear - go for a pretty baby headband! There are some gorgeous designs on ebay - take a peek!





Also: small bunches on the top of her head would look lovely, this is what we do to my daughter and she looks adorable :]
I used to fix my daughter's hair like pebbles, from The flintstones.LOL


brush her hair up on the sides and put the little pony tail in the middle of her head or they make smaller head bands, that'd be cute too.Little barettes, maybe a cute hat ( if she'll keep it on) :)
My sister loves to put her daughters hair up just in the front, so its out of her eyes. She gets the hair from the ears forward, then divides it in the middle. So its like 2 little ponytails on the top of her head.
Maybe pig-tails or braids, if her hair is long enough. Or you could put it in a half ponytail, I think that looks really cute on little kids. :]
