Well I have the same length hair, I have a side fringe, and I NEVER straighten it, because it's fairly straight anyway, but I like to have my hair a little wavy so that it doesn't just hang around like its dead.
Lately however i've been pulling back one side and twisting it, then putting a comb (the hair styling kind not like for combing your hair) so it looks really vintage.

put half your hair in a pony tail on the back of ur head but leave some of ur hair out of it and leave it down, also take out two locks of hair in the front let them hang down on each side of ur face, i dont usually see chicks with that hair style but i like how it looks on the people ive seen do it
half down,half up. pig tails. tossie tail. curl it into your face.
