What are good hair styles for thick hair???

I have black hair and its really thick. Its like a medium legnth. I have absolutely nothing to do with it!!! I've tried straightening it, but it doesnt straighten well, and I want to try different styles instead of the same curly haired look I've been doing for the past few months. Any suggestions?What are good hair styles for thick hair???

so you don t like curly hare? well tats my problem 2 i have thick brown hair and its curly%26amp; i dont want it 2 be curley. so what i do is buy stratining shampoo, hair spray, and for x-mas i asked for a chi stratiner. the hair styels i ware the most is in a poney tail, braids. %26amp; down. :)
If you have $300 you can get a straightening perm that lasts a few months. Or, get lighter highlights like browns. Hope I helped. :)

Cut into layers so that the bottom part won't look heavy. Condition well with a hair mask once a week or whenever u feel like it. That way u get nice, soft curls. U can also get some highlights that are a shade lighter to add depth, break up the monotony and emphasize your nice curls. For a sweet look, get a thin, black headband and place it over your head with some fringe in the front (don't pull back all your hair). I also personally think girls with thick hair look chic n cool with a scarf tied over their hair like a headband. U may also put your hair up, twist at the back, leaving some out and also leaving some fringe in the front if u like.





For me, straightening is so complicated and I don't know why girls with natural curls permanently straighten their hair%26gt;%26gt;it looks FAKE and you'll loose that bounce and only gain STIFF hair. If u want to straighen, use a straightener. Curly hair is great because u never lose the volume. I personally wish I had natural curls cos u can do so much more hairstyles with it. Straight hair needs to be blow dried to get volume, applied with numerous products then styled... and curling them takes for-ever.

I have the same problem! Get long layers they totally help and my hairdresser uses this special comb to just take any hair that is really making it look thick and frizzy out. If you want you could also thin it.
Get layers cut in then get a thick hair bobble and try put it up awesomely =)
