What hair styles are best for an eight grade formal?Down and flowing with lavish curls?Or up in a simple bun?

my hair is kind of long about shoulder blade lenght and i'm sure by spring it will be much longer or a little shorter. I have dark brown hair and it's naturally curly but now that i'm older it's more wavy. I was thinking if I wear it down and curly i could put like a sparkley butterfly pin or something.What hair styles are best for an eight grade formal?Down and flowing with lavish curls?Or up in a simple bun?
It will depend on what you're wearing as well. If your clothes are covering your shoulder then you would want to put your hair up or at least half up. If you are wearing something open that has straps or strapless then you want to put your hair down and try some simple accessories for the hair or body.What hair styles are best for an eight grade formal?Down and flowing with lavish curls?Or up in a simple bun?

Well it depends on how you usually wear it.. If you always wear your hair in a ponytail then down would be very nice and different.


But if you always wear it out then something up and styles would look better.
You should leave it down and put like a barette in your hair. your hairstyle depends on your dress. if it is like a halter, you should put your hair up in a bun. If your dress is like a spaghetti strapped dress, you should leave it down. For the bun, you should put like chopsticks in it. that'll look cute ;]

im a guy but im saying no bun just wear it down and strightin it. i think that that would look best.
If you wear it down you will regret it. All the dancing will undoubtedly leave you looking unkempt. Try putting it up loosely with curls falling around your face and in back. No need for a school teacher bun. Plus it is a special occasion, take a look at the movie my fair lady. That is an old movie but the hair style is timeless. classy too. You did say formal, right?
Down and wavy sounds really pretty. Your hair will smell really good to your dance partner. Plus natural and flowing is always prettier.

Wear it down. Buns are for old ladies.
Down is always more classy and much better for a school dance. I agree with the other answer that buns are for old ladies.
DOWN!! it looks good down for dances. just make sure that u use a good hairspray. and make sure that the hairspray dosent SMELL! it will drive the guy CRAZY!! in the bad type of crazy.

that would be fine. it dosent matter who you wear your hair as long as you like it. you could also just straigthen it if you want and that would be fine. thts what everyone did in 8th.

there are 8th grade ';formals'; now? When I was in middle school it was a bunch of boys and girls jumping around with boys on one side and girls on the other lol
