Why doesn't any of the hair styles I download for The Sims 3 show up in the game?

Please either explain how to get it to work

Give me a website where I can get awesome hairstyles (in english please someone gave me a website that was all in japanese and I was really lost :|)

Here's how to get them to work:

1. download it and right click and open with winzip

2. extract it to desktop (it doesn't have to be to desktop it's just easier because you can see it better)

3. open my computer and click on the c drive

4.find program files and click on it. there will be an electronic arts folder and a sims 3 folder inside.

5.drag the resource.cfg folder in the sims 3 folder

6. then create a new folder in the sims 3 folder and call it mods

7. then go into mods folder and create one called packages

8. drag the folder on the desktop that ends in package and the game should recognise it

the sims 3.com seems ok but i personaly would go with the sims 2 resourse. just look under downloads and then look under sims 3. and make sure your cousom content is on before you download anything.
